I grew up in MeckPomm, from a small sleepy village. Since I successfully passed my chef training, I live in Berlin.
My stations were chef, operations manager and hotel manager. Since 2015 I have found my professional home here at the American Bowl. In addition to a regular income and a secure job, it is the variety and constant challenge that drives me. The special thrill is working with constantly changing characters and educating young people. As a trainer for cooks, the constant reference to my greatest passion, cooking, remains. In my free time I love to be in the Marzahn garden.
I have been with the team since 2016. Even as a child, I enjoyed cooking for my family. After a long internship, it was clear to me that I would become a chef.
I enjoy my work because you learn something new and there are always new challenges. I like being at Play OFF because my girlfriend also works here in the service department.
My tip for you: definitely try the spareribs!
First of all, anyone can bowl. It even goes from a wheelchair. Even children from about 5 years old have fun watching the pins fall over. You probably won’t strike (that’s what it’s called when all 10 pins fall) the whole time, but something will fall over. The important thing is to have fun and you will have that with us.
But if you want to prepare a little, watch some YouTube tutorials beforehand. We recommend this video:

5 people in a lane is ideal, because there are 5 chairs at a table. But due to the constant standing up, there is more standing than sitting anyway and thus it also fits with 6 people. Anything beyond that is possible but slows down the whole process. It simply takes longer for everyone to get their turn again.
Well, and two people should play at least, because bowling alone makes lonely and even more so no fun!

Here are our offers for your bowling party fun in Berlin Marzahn
We recommend it for children from about 5 years. The challenge for the smaller kids is that the lightest ball – a 6 ball in our case – is still too heavy. They don’t have the strength to throw it so that the pins fall over. And the falling of the pins is the kick.
If the child can hold and throw the 6-ball well – even with both hands – then we help by raising the two rails (bumping system or kids’ rail) before the game. This way the ball can’t break out to the left and right and there is a good chance of falling pins. Hooray!
Therefore, please ask for kids rails when you reserve your lane. Since we only have 12 (of a total of 18) such lanes, the request should be announced in advance.
We have everything there! A rich selection of food and drinks!
We therefore ask for your understanding that outside food and drinks are not allowed. Unfortunately, also no birthday cake.
In addition to kids’ meals, we also offer meals for vegetarians and vegans. If you have booked a Kids Birthday with one of our packages, you can add a cake and much more.
If you have an allergy or food intolerance, please contact us. Usually, our kitchen team will find a solution to your problem.
There are game prices and there are hourly prices. We mainly charge “per person and game”, i.e., according to game prices.
A game = 10 double throws ends when a final result is displayed on the right side. Then we calculate the corresponding game price for each participant. Example:
5 people play two games on Friday evening at 8 pm: 5 x 2 x 3.50 € = 35.00 €. This will take about 1.5 hours.
If you have booked two hours and have to finish afterwards, it may be that you cannot finish the game you started. In that case, we will only charge for the throws made per person for this game, not the complete game.

Our venue is located in the large leisure center “Le Prom”, in which, among other things, the UCI cinema is located. There are many parking spaces on three sides of the building, which are usually sufficient. Free parking for 4 hours is possible here.
Use the two access roads from Märkische Allee out of town or Landsberger Allee in town.
Tram, bus & S-Bahn also stop right in front of the door.
We recommend in any case a reservation for the bowling alley or for a table in the Play Off Restaurant & Sports bar.
