OUR HOUSE & LANE RULES

On this page you can find our current house and lane rules. Optionally also in German version.
Safety rules:
  • Please take care of your children.
The playing area may only be entered with bowling shoes. Wearing bowling shoes without socks is not allowed.

  • In the area of the run-up (height of the ball dispenser) only the respective player should be present at any time!

  • Never touch the ball dispenser! There is a high risk of injury. Wait until the ball has returned completely!

  • The areas between and next to the lanes may not be entered. Running and especially running across the run-up area is not allowed.

  • Please do not enter the foul line (start of lane), as there is a risk of slipping and thus injury. In addition, a foul throw will be indicated.

  • Make sure that street shoes, bags & jackets are stored away so that no one can fall over them and injure themselves. Lockers are available for use.
Playing time:
  • Please report to the counter 5 min. prior to the start of play, otherwise the lane will be assigned elsewhere if there is demand.

  • Please observe FAIR PLAY on all lanes as well as in the entire playing area (right has right of way!).

  • The balls always come back to the ball dispenser. Therefore, no one has to hold on to a ball! The balls are there for all players.

  • In case of malfunctions and balls left on the lane, please contact our counter staff.

  • Leaving the bowling alley with bowling shoes is prohibited.

  • It is not allowed to leave drinks at the counter.
  • In case of spilled drinks please inform the service staff immediately!

  • Our staff is permitted to delay, interrupt or cancel games in progress at any time without giving a reason and refunding game prices.
Before bowling:
  • There is no right of appeal for special events. No discounts or vouchers can be recognized. Special events are e.g.: Brunch bowling, motto events such as men’s day, women’s day party, etc., celebrations & highlights of any kind.

  • Only one voucher per person/group is valid per day.

  • Vouchers cannot be combined with discounts already granted for game or hourly rates.

  • Dogs are not welcome in the restaurant and bowling area.

  • We are not liable for your wardrobe, own bowling balls and accessories.

  • On holidays, our Sunday prices apply

SAFETY AND HOUSE RULES

SAFETY RULES

  • Warning. Be cautious when bowling or using the facilities of the center. Bowling is an active, competitive sport requiring physical conditioning, coordination and skill and can present dangerous situations and the risk of serious injury. Due to the physical requirements of bowling, a fall or accident and an injury, may occur regardless of the condition of the approach and other areas of the center.
  • Responsibility.  Each parent or adult in charge, especially when children are bowling or present, is responsible for teaching each person in the group the Safety Rules and making sure the rules are followed.
  • Approach.  Only one person is allowed to be on the approach. No food or drink on the approach.  Slippery, wet or sticky spots or substances can affect a bowler’s slide and delivery and cause a fall and serious injury.  Inspect the approach each time before bowling and make adjustments.  Take practice slides.  If the approach is sticky or slippery, stop bowling and ask a staff member for assistance.
  • Ball and Shoes.  Wear bowling shoes with socks while bowling.  Have the correct fit for the bowling ball and shoes.  See a staff member for help selecting or changing a ball or shoes.  Clean the soles of shoes before bowling, after going to the rest room or anywhere else in or outside of the center.  Moisture, humidity or a slippery or sticky substance on the sole of a shoe can cause a fall and serious injury.
  • Foul Line.  Lanes are treated with oil and are extremely slippery.  Crossing the foul line can cause a fall and serious injury.  After crossing the foul line, clean the soles of shoes before bowling.  Ask a staff member for help.
  • Tripping Hazards.  Watch for step-ups to and from the approach, settee and concourse and other areas of the center and keep all coats, bags and personal belongings out of the walking paths to avoid tripping.  Tell a staff member about any tripping hazard right away.
  • Equipment.  Mechanical equipment is dangerous and can cause injuries. If a ball or pin is stuck or the bumper must be raised or lowered, ask a staff member for assistance.
  • Ball Return.  The ball return has moving parts.  Serious injury can result from reaching into the ball return opening.  Keep hands away from the ball return and ball return tray.  Watch children.
